Repair an existing website or rebuild it?
The correct decision is economic and operational, not aesthetic. Preserve functioning assets and search equity, but do not let sunk cost trap the business inside an unsafe or unchangeable system.
Signals repair may be enough
The core platform is maintained, access is available, and the main failures are content, journey or bounded technical defects.
Signals replacement may be safer
The system cannot be reliably deployed, depends on retired services, exposes security risk or requires repeated workarounds for ordinary changes.
Protect during either route
Preserve analytics, valuable URLs, structured data, redirects, forms, integrations and consent behaviour.
