Four Gears

Why are enquiries failing to become sales?

Enquiries commonly fail when response is slow, ownership is unclear, qualification is inconsistent, follow-up stops too early or the hand-off between marketing and sales is invisible.

The first step is to map every route by which an enquiry can arrive and identify who owns the next action.

Response time alone is not the whole problem. The quality of the reply, the information captured and the next agreed step also affect conversion.

Attribution must connect the original source to the eventual outcome. Otherwise, the business cannot distinguish weak demand from a broken follow-up process.

Nobody can explain why apparently good enquiries disappeared

Reporting counts leads but not their final outcome
